I Do Not Share the View That Pashinyan Signed a Document in Prague Followed by the Fall of Artsakh: Zeynalyan
I do not share the view that Nikol Pashinyan signed that document in Prague, which led to the fall of Artsakh. This was stated by Artak Zeynalyan, a member of the "Republic" faction, during a press conference following the signing of a memorandum between the "Civil Contract" and "Republic" factions.
"Wars are not lost due to the clash of armies, but rather in the preparatory phase; this is a rule. What happened is the result of actions and inactions that have long been in motion. Since 2004 and even earlier, when Armenia signed an agreement regarding the deployment of Russian border guards in Armenia. Review that agreement; when the RA signed and extended the contract regarding the military base, it was the consequence of a mistake made by all of us, regardless of individuals. I will not be reconciled with myself over this, and I will fight for Artsakh to remain Armenian. We will invest our knowledge, experience, and ingenuity to make that happen," said Artak Zeynalyan.
