Russia Comments on Armenia's Ratification of the Rome Statute

Moscow cannot take seriously Yerevan's idea of resolving issues and signing an agreement after ratifying the Rome Statute. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin in an interview with RBC.

“We expected that Armenia would refrain from such a step, as the same rules allow countries that, for various reasons, have not signed the Rome Statute to apply to the services of this court even without the ratification of the Rome Statute,” said Galuzin.

Earlier, we reported that the Armenian parliament had ratified the Rome Statute.
