Palestinian Hamas Announces Willingness for Ceasefire with Israel

The Palestinian Hamas movement has announced its willingness to discuss a ceasefire with Israel. This was reported by the AlHadath television channel.

"We are open to discussions regarding a ceasefire with Israel," reads the statement from the Palestinian movement.

Previously, it was reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) would strike targets belonging to Hamas in the Gaza Strip, even if this could potentially endanger the lives of captured compatriots.

Earlier, Hamas had promised to execute captives in response to Israeli attacks on residential buildings.
