Hamas Rocket Strikes Recorded on Israel's Ashkelon and Ashdod Cities

The Al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement) have announced the firing of rockets towards Ashdod, Ashkelon, Tel Aviv, and Sderot, as reported by RIA Novosti.

The brigades earlier reported the launch of rockets towards Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

“In response to the shelling of residential buildings, the Al-Qassam Brigades are directing a large barrage of 120 rockets at Ashdod and Ashkelon,” the brigades' statement reads.

The military wing of Hamas indicated that it has again fired rockets towards Tel Aviv. It also added that rockets were launched towards Sderot “to support the Al-Qassam forces located there.”
