Israel Officially Declares State of Emergency Equivalent to War Declaration
Israel has officially declared a state of emergency. The Israeli security cabinet, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has activated the 40th clause of the Basic Law on Government, which is equivalent to a declaration of war.
It is important to note that on the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented missile attack from the Gaza Strip.
