Hamas Militants Penetrate Southern Israel's Magen Community: Fighting Underway

The Palestinian Hamas militant group has penetrated the Magen community located in southern Israel, according to reports from i24 television.

According to the channel, fighting is underway between Palestinian forces and Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers in Magen. Several media outlets have indicated that the Israeli army is using heavy armored vehicles, including tanks.

In turn, Hamas has claimed that its militants have exited the shores of the Israeli city of Ashkelon aboard five motorboats, taken control of certain areas of the city, and inflicted significant losses on the Israeli side.
