Biden on the Israel-Palestinian Conflict

US President Joe Biden has delivered a special message dedicated to the attack on Israel by the Palestinian radical movement Hamas.

Biden emphasized that Israel, now more than ever, can rely on the support of the United States. He reminded that the US was the first country to recognize Israel's independence.

“We will ensure that they receive the assistance that the citizens of that country need, and they can continue to defend themselves,” Biden stated.

Biden highlighted that there is “never an excuse for terrorist attacks” and called on “other forces hostile to Israel” to refrain from any actions and not to exploit the situation. Biden likely referred to the Hezbollah movement.

It is noteworthy that since the morning of October 7, rocket fire from the Gaza Strip had targeted Israeli territory. The US promises to provide Israel with all necessary assistance.
