Israel Regains Control Over Most Settlements, Says IDF Spokesperson

The Israeli army has announced that it has regained control over most of the southern settlements near the Gaza Strip, according to Haaretz.

“An Israeli military representative stated that the army has restored control over most of the settlements near the Gaza border, which had been infiltrated by Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants,” the report mentioned.

It was noted that the settlements returned to control include Sderot, Sofan, Nirim, Nir Oz, and about 10 other locations.

It is worth reminding that this morning, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army's press service reported that the extremists fired over 3,000 rockets. In addition, dozens of terrorists infiltrated border areas in southern Israel.
