Putin Reveals Official Cause of Prigozhin's Airplane Crash

The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has stated the official cause of the airplane crash involving the head of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin.

“Recently, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, reported to me that fragments of hand grenades were found in the bodies of those killed in the aviation accident. There was no external influence on the aircraft. This has already been confirmed. This is the result of an investigation conducted by the Investigative Committee,” said Putin.

He added that no tests had been conducted for the presence of alcohol and drugs in the bodies of the victims, but 5 kg of cocaine was discovered during a search of Prigozhin's office.
