The Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, and the Prime Minister's press secretary, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, presented the processes that the Armenian government is implementing to address the humanitarian needs of individuals forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh at the Government’s Humanitarian Center.

According to Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the latest figures regarding the number of individuals forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh remain the same, totaling 100,632. The number of registered and identified individuals stands at 99,342. Out of those who arrived in Armenia, 73,543 have been distributed across various regions of Armenia. The distribution by regions is as follows: Aragatsotn - 3,771, Ararat - 17,139, Armavir - 7,728, Gegharkunik - 5,097, Lori - 4,477, Kotayk - 20,694, Shirak - 3,449, Syunik - 5,762, Vayots Dzor - 2,370, Tavush - 3,056.

Minister Anahit Avanesyan provided details on individuals who were moved to Armenia due to military operations and explosions in Nagorno-Karabakh and are currently receiving treatment in various medical centers in the capital. The total number of these individuals is 319, with 117 in serious condition and 14 in extremely serious condition. Positive dynamics have been observed, with some patients being transferred from intensive care to general wards, and some have been discharged. Currently, there are 5 children in intensive care, 3 of whom have been transferred to a ward due to improvement, and 1 newborn has been discharged.

According to the Minister, the registration of healthcare workers is ongoing to facilitate their retraining and certification process in a timely manner, as well as to quickly place them in available positions within Armenia. As of now, 216 individuals have applied. There are currently 273 vacancies for senior healthcare workers and 59 vacancies for mid-level healthcare workers. A detailed list of these vacancies by profession is available on the official website of the Ministry of Health.

Anahit Avanesyan also noted that mobile teams have begun operations as of today. These mobile teams will conduct visits, perform primary health assessments, and gather necessary information to evaluate needs and provide targeted solutions in the future. They will also facilitate the linkage process, as all health services are available to displaced individuals through state order; however, it is crucial for the mechanisms to be activated at primary levels, such as polyclinics and outpatient clinics. Currently, 11,000 displaced individuals have been registered at primary healthcare facilities, enabling both planned medical assistance and the provision of medication. Psychologists are also involved in the mobile teams.

The Prime Minister's press secretary reminded that the Ministry of Finance has opened a treasury account for donations from citizens living in Armenia and abroad, for any currency. The account number is 900005002762.

According to Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has received more than 63,000 applications on the primary needs registration platform. Through the ministry’s workforall.am website, over 4,500 job vacancies are available for individuals forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
