Kerobyan on the Situation in Upper Lars

In Upper Lars, vehicles are passing through, although not all of them. This was stated by the Minister of Economic Development of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, during a press briefing following a session of the government.

According to him, several dozen vehicles loaded with alcoholic beverages have already passed through the border in the past day. He noted that the main goal of the Ministry of Economy and the government is to ensure that products manufactured in Armenia are of high quality. In this direction, the Armenian government had already begun a process some time ago to ensure that beverages exported from Armenia are of high quality.

“I wouldn’t say there is any political context to this. Samples have been taken from certain vehicles, and we are awaiting the results of the laboratory investigation. The other vehicles are passing through. I wouldn’t exaggerate the issue,” the Minister stated.
