Video: "You weep for Yerablur, yet half of it has been privatized" says Pashinyan in anger
During a session in the National Assembly, tensions flared when Arghvan Vardanyan of the Armenia faction posed a question. In response to Vardanyan's call for action regarding the "Vardashen" prison, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan remarked, "You claim we are becoming martyrs. How many martyrs did you find in five-star resorts in Europe? We still didn't understand that."
He then addressed accusations of having sold Artsakh, stating, "You weep for Yerablur, yet half of it has been privatized. Don’t you see those driving Lexuses and Toyotas on Yerablur?"
After Pashinyan's remarks, the atmosphere in the National Assembly heated up, with MP Armenuhy Kureghyan making disparaging comments. However, after a short while, the MPs calmed down.
