Dilijan and Pushkin Tunnels to Be Temporarily Closed

Due to ongoing reconstruction work, traffic restrictions are in effect on the Alaverdi-Sanahin-Sarakhart road segment. The M-4 interstate highway's Dilijan tunnel (Sevan Mountain Pass Tunnel) and the M-3 interstate highway's Pushkin tunnel (Pushkin Mountain Pass Tunnel) will see temporary traffic cessation as part of their renovation project. Specifically, traffic through the Dilijan tunnel will be halted from October 2 to October 6 from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and through the Pushkin tunnel from October 6 to October 10, during the same hours.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia's North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepanstsminda-Larsi highway is open to all types of vehicles.
