The work to provide humanitarian aid to the Armenian population of Karabakh will continue, as stated in the announcement by the Russian Foreign Ministry, which we present below.

“Russia's consistent efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh continue. The aid is reaching those who have voluntarily left the region, as well as residents who have decided to stay.

Since the ceasefire in military operations in Karabakh mediated by Russian peacekeeping forces on September 20, our peacekeepers have delivered about 200 tons of humanitarian supplies, fuel, and lubricants to the people of Karabakh. They also organized the medical evacuation of hundreds of those injured in the gas station explosion on September 25, and accompanied convoys of Karabakh residents heading to Armenia.

Russian military doctors continue to work in the region. Assistance to the Armenians of Karabakh is provided through various channels and within Armenian territory, including by Russian companies, public activists, and compatriots.

Considering the humanitarian needs expressed during a press briefing at the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on October 2, we are determining the scope and scale of humanitarian aid. This work is primarily aimed at meeting immediate needs.

The Yerevan representative office of 'Rosssotrudnichestvo' has established a special headquarters to coordinate efforts. Just in the past few days, its employees have delivered over 3 tons of humanitarian aid to Goris and 1.5 tons to Kapan. Russian diplomats from the advanced group of the Russian Foreign Ministry are working in the border area for the opening of the Consulate General in Syunik, establishing contact with the local administration.

The Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center has provided 100 tents and 200 warm blankets. The 'Doctor Lisa' charitable foundation named after Elizaveta Glinka has prepared over 10 tons of humanitarian aid for delivery, including baby food, essential goods, warm clothing, bedding, and electric heaters.

Social activists plan to send 20 tons of humanitarian aid from Volgograd. Organizations of the Armenian diaspora in Russia have provided daily meals for 500 Karabakh residents.

'Rosssotrudnichestvo', 'South Caucasus Railways' LLC, and associations of compatriots are collecting and distributing food packages. Since October 1, 'South Caucasus Railway' CJSC has been providing free travel by electric trains for Karabakh residents in Armenia.

The 'RUSAL Armenia' group of companies is assisting in the employment of displaced individuals. Considering the urgent need for housing, 'Gazprom Armenia' LLC is providing accommodation from its residential fund, as well as covering rent and housing and utility services for 600 families.

The work to provide humanitarian aid to the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh will continue,” the announcement states.
