Ratification of the Rome Statute Will Create Problems for Armenia and Its Citizens, Says Volodin

The ratification of the Rome Statute is a hasty, strategic error that will primarily create problems for Armenia and its citizens. This was stated by Vyacheslav Volodin, the Speaker of the State Duma of Russia, in a Telegram post.

“Any decision can be explained, but those who made it should answer why. The development of relations between our countries is the choice of our peoples, and the ratification of the Rome Statute contradicts that,” Volodin noted.
