‘Even from the very beginning of the meeting, it was not considered necessary to honor the memory of our victims’. Arzvik Minasyan

The National Assembly has commenced its next four-day session. During the exchange of views, Arzvik Minasyan, a member of the ‘Armenia’ faction, stated that this session of the National Assembly is convened following the Azerbaijani atrocities—starving people, forcibly displacing them through war, and the act of surrendering Artsakh.

‘It would have been logical for one of the agenda items to be an analysis and assessment of the situation, but we see that there is no such decision. Perhaps the reason for this is that the political majority and the current authorities are trying to obscure their complicity in this national tragedy or, even worse, attempt to shift the blame onto others. Meanwhile, this is not only erroneous but also dangerous and destructive,’ he emphasized.

According to him, the current authorities continue their nation-destroying policy, the consequences of which we are witnessing: ‘Even from the very beginning of the meeting, it was not considered necessary to honor the memory of our victims.’
