Pope Francis Reiterates Call for Dialogue Between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Pope Francis is closely monitoring the disastrous situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. He made a corresponding statement recently.

“In these days, I am watching the tragic situation of refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh. I reiterate my call for dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and I urge the international community to support dialogue between the parties, which will lead to a long-term agreement, putting an end to the humanitarian crisis. I raise my prayers for the victims of the explosion at the fuel depot near Stepanakert,” he said.
