WHO to Send Experts to Armenia to Assist Artsakh Armenians
The World Health Organization has announced that it is activating its emergency response systems and sending experts to Armenia due to the relocation of over 100,000 Armenians from Artsakh, as reported by Reuters and conveyed by Voice of America.
"We have activated our emergency response systems and will send specialists in various fields to the country [Armenia] after a comprehensive needs assessment, including mental health, burn care, primary health services, and emergency coordination," stated Dr. Hans Henri P. Kluge, the director of WHO's Regional Office for Europe.
"The challenges are indeed enormous, and we are there to do everything we can," added the WHO official.
