Four Representatives of Armenia's Gymnastics Team Reach World Championship Finals
The representatives of Armenia's gymnastics team have advanced to the finals of the World Qualification Championship.
According to a reporter from Armenpress, Arthur Davtyan, a member of the Armenian team, Olympic bronze medalist, and world and European champion, has qualified for the finals in both the vault and all-around events. However, per the coaches' decision, Davtyan will only participate in the vault finals.
The vault finals are set to take place on October 8.
In addition, Arthur Avetisyan and Vahagn Davtyan have qualified for the finals in the rings event, having scored the same 14.433 points in the qualifying round. The rings finals are scheduled for October 7.
Only Harutyun Merdinyan surpassed the qualifying barrier in the pommel horse event, while fellow Armenian representative Gagik Khachikyan ranks 9th and is among the reserves. The finals for this event will also be on October 7.
