If No Extraordinary Decisions Are Made, the Final Armenian Evacuation from Artsakh is Just 6-7 Days Away: "Hraparak"
"Hraparak" newspaper reports that as of September 28, by 12:00 PM, 68,386 people had already fled from Artsakh to Armenia, which is more than half of the population of the Republic of Artsakh. The hope that Artsakh will not be completely emptied seems to be fading. Yesterday, Nikol Pashinyan also announced that in a few days, there will be no Armenians left in Artsakh. The promises of Russian peacekeepers to double their resources and ensure the safety of those remaining in Artsakh seem to be yet another balloon, just like their previous assurances.
Reports from Artsakh indicate that if no extraordinary decisions are made, the final evacuation of Armenians from Artsakh is a matter of 6-7 days. Meanwhile, just a few days ago, there were reports that the Russians were persuading Armenians to stay in Artsakh in order to continue their mission. They even promised that the community of Artsakh would have a leadership represented by Vitaly Balasanyan.
However, the Russian peacekeepers are not only failing to protect Artsakh, but right before their eyes, Azerbaijani militants are detaining prominent figures at the illegal checkpoint over the Khakari Bridge and transferring them to Azerbaijan. Following Rubén Vardanyan's detention, there are reports of further arrests, details about which remain unclear. Our sources indicate that some of them were involved in portraying Aliyev and his family members during the 44-day war.
