As of 08:00, 42,500 individuals have been forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh and have crossed into the Republic of Armenia. This was reported during a press conference by the spokesperson for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

“Out of the 42,500 individuals, 22,800 have registered,” she added. The displaced individuals have received shelter in various regions of Armenia.

“In Syunik, 1,465 individuals have received shelter, in Vayots Dzor - 810, in Gegharkunik - 976, in Tavush - 298, in Armavir - 200, in Aragatsotn - 30, in Shirak - 203, and in Kotayk - 20,” reported Pashinyan's spokesperson.

Armenia’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Narek Mkrtchyan, also noted that 22,800 people have registered, as others have voluntarily traveled to their preferred locations. “It is very important for our compatriots who have not registered and about whom we have no information to contact the territorial centers of the unified social service and register. This will allow us to understand and assess their complete needs, so that we can implement more beneficial programs,” he stated.
