UN to Provide Assistance to Those Moving from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia

The UN will provide assistance to those moving from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia if the organization is granted the necessary access. This was stated by the representative of the Secretary-General, Stefan Dujarric, during a press briefing.

“We are closely and with great concern following the mass migration of people to Armenia. If we are given access, we are prepared to assess humanitarian needs and provide assistance to those affected by the current situation. We have representatives in both Azerbaijan and Armenia. They are ready to support any relief efforts should such an opportunity arise,” he said.
