Some Families Returning from Artsakh to Armenia Due to Road Congestion
Some families traveling from Artsakh to Armenia by personal vehicles have turned back while still outside Stepanakert, due to road congestion. This was reported by journalist Gayane Gevorgyan, a resident of Stepanakert, in an interview with Armenpress, emphasizing that it has been nearly impossible to move forward.
“In four to five hours, we have managed to move just about 100 meters, we haven’t even reached the 'Maz' bridge. The government has said to wait, assuring us that we all will be able to go normally,” detailed the media contact.
Referring to the situation in Stepanakert, she noted that there continue to be long lines for gasoline, and operational bakeries or sales points are noticeably absent, with people relying on food supplies left at home. “Just earlier, I passed by a bakery. I saw that flour was spilled; they said anyone who wants can take some,” added Gevorgyan.
