It Was Impossible to Stay and Live with Azerbaijanis: Mayor of Empty Great Shen

The Great Shen of Artsakh has also been completely emptied. The 80 residents of the community have already left their homes. This was reported by "Azatutyun."

The mayor, David Davityan, stated that he was the last to leave his native village yesterday. According to him, it was impossible to stay and live with Azerbaijanis.

“We left our homes, we departed with one car, leaving our livestock, bees, and means of sustenance behind... This is the end; Artsakh is forever gone, we have lost it, sold it out, betrayed it; Mother Armenia has betrayed her offspring. Even in the animal kingdom, there is nothing like this. You will only read about Artsakh in history textbooks. Wait for the next one, it’s Syunik,” the mayor remarked.

Davityan mentioned that he has already reached Kornidzor, while his children have just left and are still near Shushi, facing traffic jams and taking 2 to 4 days to travel. He is waiting for them to arrive in Goris, and they may head together towards Kotayk Province.
