Several Armenians Detained in Artsakh by Azerbaijani State Security Service
Julya
The Azerbaijani State Security Service has reported the detention of several Armenians in Artsakh. Azerbaijan has labeled them as 'terrorists,' accusing them of supposedly placing mines in a newly constructed tunnel in the village of Taghavard, Martuni region, and along the Ahmadbeyli-Fizuli (Varanda)-Shushi highway at the 58th kilometer on September 19, 2023.
Azerbaijan claims that these actions resulted in the deaths of two civilians and four police officers. It has been mentioned that the suspected Armenians were disarmed and detained during Azerbaijan's conducted 'counter-terrorism operations' on September 20.
Previously, it was reported that six Azerbaijanis were killed, once again placing blame on Armenians.
