Levon Kocharyan Arrested for One Month

Levon Kocharyan, the son of former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, has been arrested for one month. The Yerevan First Instance Court, presided over by Judge Masis Melkonyan, has granted the investigator's application.

Kocharyan is accused of using violence against a representative of the authorities. Earlier, Levon Kocharyan's legal team announced that they were withdrawing their appeal against his arrest, as it was to be considered by Judge Masis Melkonyan.
