ICRC and Peacekeepers Must Urgently Open Air Corridor to Transport Explosion Victims to Armenia: Abrahamyan
Deputy of the National Assembly from the 'I Have Honor' faction Tigran Abrahamyan stated on his Facebook page that international organizations, primarily the International Red Cross Committee, and Russian peacekeepers deployed in Artsakh must urgently open an air corridor to swiftly transport the injured from the recent operations and today’s catastrophic explosion to medical facilities in Armenia.
The Stepanakert-Goris overland route is severely congested, effectively paralyzed, and it is impossible to transport the injured through it. Moreover, the healthcare system in Artsakh is currently unable to manage or serve the overwhelming situation.
An air corridor is critically necessary and must be operationalized at all costs.
