Hundreds Injured; Urgent Need for Air Evacuations to Save Lives, Says Artsakh Ombudsman
Hundreds have been injured as a result of an explosion at a fuel depot in Artsakh. The exact number of casualties and injured is still undetermined. This was reported by Gegham Stepanyan, the Ombudsman of Artsakh.
"In conditions of limited medical resources and medications at the Republican Medical Center and the Children's Hospital in Stepanakert, assistance is being provided to the victims, however, it is insufficient. There is a critical need to evacuate the wounded by air to save their lives," Stepanyan stated.
