Lawyer Lusine Virabyan wrote on her Facebook page: “Meet Amur, a 14-year-old boy displaced from the village of Shekher in Artsakh in 2020. He is as strong as his name suggests. This morning, he was taken to the Kanaker-Zeytun police station. In addition to being detained, he was also subjected to physical violence during the process (being hit on the head).
Amur was the last detainee to leave the station with me. The others were adults, but only Amur was kept in the station for 3 hours without reason, even though the actions had concluded. I leave the conclusions to you.”
The lawyer also noted that the photo is published with parental consent.
