All Decisions on the September 20 Ceasefire Were Made by Nagorno-Karabakh, Says Pashinyan's Spokesperson
All decisions regarding the ceasefire on September 20 were made by Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan on her Facebook page.
“We again inform you that all decisions regarding the ceasefire on September 20 were made by Nagorno-Karabakh. The Republic of Armenia was not involved in the decision-making process. Armenia was generally aware that a process was taking place but did not have specific information about the details. The Republic of Armenia did not have information about the mechanisms for discussing documents or the format of decision-making. Nagorno-Karabakh discussed and coordinated the issues with and/or through the peacekeeping force of the Russian Federation,” she wrote.
