No Need for Volunteer Aid Collection for Displaced Persons from Artsakh: Ministry of Social Affairs
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia has issued a statement regarding the situation in Artsakh. It states: “Dear citizens, due to the circumstances created in Nagorno-Karabakh, certain individuals and private initiatives are organizing collections of food, clothing, and essential supplies, which is unnecessary. We urge you not to initiate such processes to avoid the misallocation of resources. The needs of persons displaced from Artsakh will be addressed by a working group created to ensure their transportation and accommodation as necessary, and citizens' needs will be coordinated and satisfied accordingly.
We also urge sectoral NGOs to discuss the necessity of any initiative with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs before starting their efforts.”
