Azerbaijanis Have Set Up Checkpoints on the Road from the Regions to Stepanakert: MP

The Secretary of the National Assembly's "I Have Honor" faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, reports that Azerbaijanis have positioned themselves near the immediate vicinity of Stepanakert since yesterday and have established checkpoints on the road from the regions to Stepanakert.

There are conflicting reports regarding various settlements and their residents, and many have not yet been reachable.

Indeed, the police of Artsakh have intensified their presence in various neighborhoods of Stepanakert immediately after the cessation of hostilities; however, the tension naturally remains.

Today, there will be negotiations with Azerbaijanis, facilitated by the Russian side, during which a detailed discussion of the situation in Artsakh is expected.

Frankly speaking, amid the current situation, the residents of Artsakh do not have particularly optimistic expectations, but many answers to pressing questions are anticipated from this discussion.

One of the main questions is what awaits Artsakh and our fellow countrymen living there. At first glance, everything seems clear, but as they say, "the devil is in the details," and today’s negotiations will clarify what needs to be said and done.
