Azerbaijanis Have Captured Positions Near Chartar, Now 2 km Away from the City: Resident
Positions in the city of Chartar, located in the Martuni region of Artsakh, have been captured by Azerbaijanis, who are now 2 kilometers away from the city. This was stated in an interview with NEWS.am by a resident of Chartar, who requested to remain anonymous. She is currently in a shelter along with other women and children from the city.
“We are waiting to see what they will say. They say they will be withdrawn, but I don’t know when and how. They have completely surrendered the positions to them; if they hadn’t, we would all be gone. They didn’t strike the village, but they did hit the positions. There are no specific news from the defenders as there is no communication, but it is said that everyone has come down. There are many casualties from the village,” she said.
She also mentioned that there is no food in the city, and phone connections have just been restored.
