Were Turkish-Made Baby Diapers Found in Vehicles Entering Artsakh via Agdam? - ‘Hraparak’

The newspaper ‘Hraparak’ reports: “On Sunday, it became known that the authorities of Artsakh agreed to accept simultaneous cargo via Agdam and Lachin, but this decision was not made easily. The issue is that until the last days, the Russians had reassured the newly elected authorities of the Republic of Artsakh that everything would be done to ensure the implementation of the November 9 agreement, and the uninterrupted traffic through the Lachin corridor would be restored. However, on Saturday and Sunday, they backed down, saying they were powerless; either they must accept the cargo or deepen the crisis.

However, since the blockade in Artsakh has not only created a bread issue but also security concerns, they decided to accept the offer, realizing that by opening Agdam, they are paving the way for integration.

Only hygiene products will enter Artsakh via Agdam, while only flour is expected to enter through Lachin in the coming days. Yesterday, a single truck entered Stepanakert.

Despite the initial agreement that the Russian Red Cross vehicles entering Artsakh via Agdam would carry exclusively Russian-made products, it turns out that there were also Turkish-made baby diapers, which residents of Artsakh reported yesterday, demanding the public burning of Turkish products. The government announced that goods entering from Agdam will be distributed only after inspection.”
