VIDEO: Today, Children Are Born in Artsakh

Massive shelling has been ongoing in Artsakh for several hours, yet children are still being born in the region under these conditions. “In the morning, when it was still calm, one child was born, and two others were in labor. When the shelling began, we immediately took them down to the basement, where the births occurred; one boy was born, and the other delivery happened under the shelling. There were risks, but the newborn had to come into the world; that was more important than our lives and the other risks,” said a doctor.

One of the mothers expressed gratitude, stating that the doctors approached them with utmost care. “I do not wish for these children to see war. May the birth of these children be the end of these wars,” she said.
