The Situation is Tense: Operational Measures Must Be Taken, Abrahamyan
Azerbaijan has launched an active information offensive against Artsakh since the morning, accusing it of impacting civil aviation using electronic warfare measures and of committing acts of terrorism. This was reported by Armenian National Assembly member Tigran Abrahamyan on his Facebook page.
“In relation to the recent incident, it is claimed that a supposed Armenian diversionary group has mined an Azerbaijani road, resulting in four losses for Azerbaijan. However, the reality is that Azerbaijan is trying to present Artsakh as an aggressor, a terrorist country, in order to justify its aggressive actions, before launching operations in various directions along the border,” Abrahamyan noted.
The Artsakh Defense Army has already indicated that Azerbaijan has utilized mortars against positions located in the Askeran region. However, considering Azerbaijan's provocative information preparation, it cannot be ruled out that they will take further aggressive steps in that or another direction.
The overall situation is tense, and stakeholders interested in the stability of the situation must take operational measures,” Abrahamyan stated.
