VIDEO. The Impact of 'Tasosvshchik' on the Quality of Civil Contract Votes Remains Unchanged – Ioannisyann
The municipal elections held yesterday took place under competitive conditions, although with low voter interest, according to the conclusions of local observers regarding the elections. Arthur Sakunts, who carried out the observation mission yesterday, noted that the number of violations was not widespread and that the institute of ‘tasosvshchik’ is now considered 'broken.'
“For the first time after the revolution, the use of administrative resources and the 'tasosvshchik' institute were implemented in these elections,” Sakunts stated.
Daniel Ioannisyan from the 'Independent Observer' also emphasized that despite this, there is a qualitative change compared to the 2017 elections, as no late-night entries of staff were observed and the influence of vote manipulators (‘tasosvshchik’) did not qualitatively affect the votes of the Civil Contract Party.
