No Misfortune Occurred: Davit Khajakyan on the Elections

The forces that succeeded spoke about national political issues, while we focused exclusively on urban problems and their solutions; in this regard, we did not find common ground.

This was stated to NEWS.am by the candidate for mayor from the LHK, Davit Khajakyan.

“People voted within a political logic, no matter what the political assertion was. The urban context was minimal in this election,” he said.

According to Khajakyan, the LHK will continue to work for Yerevan and will try to introduce new initiatives.

“No misfortune occurred. The results of the elections are, of course, disappointing. If voting was within a political logic, then urban problems will not be resolved. In this regard, as residents of Yerevan, we will all be affected,” noted the LHK member.
