14-Year-Old Boy Assaulted at Gavar Orphanage and Escapes

On September 15, an extraordinary incident occurred at the Gavar Orphanage in Gegharkunik Province. According to Shamshyan.com, a 14-year-old boy reported to the police that he had been assaulted at the orphanage, with blows delivered to various parts of his body using feet and hands, causing him physical pain. He also sustained injuries to his face and neck.

After the incident, the child left the orphanage. The police confirmed the authenticity of the report in a conversation with Auroranews, stating, “The report has been sent with accompanying documents to the Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department.”
