Ceasefire Violation Recorded in Askeran Region: Russian Defense Ministry

The Russian peacekeeping forces continue to carry out their tasks in the territory of Artsakh. Russian peacekeepers monitor the situation and ensure the maintenance of the ceasefire regime around the clock at thirty observation posts.

According to a report from the Russian Defense Ministry, there has been a recorded incident of a ceasefire violation in the Askeran region of Artsakh over the past day. There are no casualties reported.

The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent is conducting an investigation regarding this incident in coordination with both the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides.

Earlier, the Artsakh Ministry of Defense reported that on September 17, around 18:20, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire in the Martakert region, utilizing small arms and a 23-2 unit. It was noted that there was one injury on the Armenian side.
