234,553 Voters Participated in Elections Held for 824,250 Electors
In the elections for the Yerevan City Council, out of 824,250 eligible voters in the city, 234,553 voters participated, which accounts for 28.46% of the total.
The figures were presented by Vahe Hakobyan, Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission.
The participation rates by district are as follows:
- Ajapnyak - 23,229 people, or 27.98%
- Avan - 12,575 people, or 32.22%
- Arabkir - 29,301 people, or 30.99%
- Davtashen - 10,709 people, or 31.98%
- Erebuni - 21,719 people, or 24.35%
- Center - 28,714 people, or 30.25%
- Malatia-Sebastia - 27,490 people, or 25.86%
- Nor Norq - 28,889 people, or 29.63%
- Norq Marash - 3,314 people, or 31.07%
- Noubarashen - 2,250 people, or 27.90%
- Shengavit - 29,357 people, or 26.5%
- Kanaker-Zeytun - 17,006 people, or 29.98%
