User Reported That Lists Were Requested from Ministries for the March, But Refused to File a Report: Clarification
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia has issued a clarification regarding reports that lists have been requested from ministries to participate in the march of the Civil Contract Party (CP) on Friday at 6 PM.
The clarification from the Ministry states: “On September 13, a user named V. Saghatelyan made a post on social media, officially and fully responsibly stating that ‘…calls have been made from the Prime Minister's office to the ministries (I have specific information from at least two) requesting lists of employees who will be near the Erebuni Museum at 6 PM on Friday and will march with Nikol.’”
After identifying the user, on September 14 at 8:30 AM, they were summoned to the Kanaker-Zeytun Division of the Police, accompanied by a lawyer, where they stated that they made the post themselves, had heard it from someone, and refused to provide information or file a report regarding their statement.”
