VIDEO: 'Kholostoy Karen', 'Morehik', 'Tarakan' - 15 Criminal Authorities Detained in Vanadzor
On September 12, a large number of criminal authorities and individuals associated with criminal subcultures were identified during an operation conducted by the Armenian National Police in Vanadzor. This led to the discovery of weapons, ammunition, drugs, knives with hidden blades, and other suspicious items. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
The residents of Lori province who were brought in include 43-year-old Hovik Piloyan, 33-year-old Gor Ohanian, 38-year-old Aghasi Tatulian, 30-year-old Gevorg Asatryan, 28-year-old David Atabekyan, 29-year-old Arthur Atabekyan, 30-year-old Artush Gevorgyan, 43-year-old Karen Hovhannisyan, 28-year-old Melkon Chavushyan, 23-year-old Vrej Afitseryan, 42-year-old Arthur Avetisyan, 39-year-old Viliam Danielyan, 30-year-old Albert Sargsyan, 32-year-old Armen Grigoryan, and 21-year-old Arman Davoyan.
Some of those detained have nicknames known in criminal subculture, including 'Sabulich', 'Kholostoy Karen', 'Kolagirantsi Artyomik', 'Negri Hovo', 'Tset', 'Titer', 'Tiz', 'Morehik', and 'Tarakan'.
Previously, the website reported that a police masked special operation was conducted in Lori province. In the early morning hours, masked special forces from Yerevan arrived in Vanadzor, moving criminal figures known for their criminal backgrounds to the police stations in Taron and Bazum.
Most of them, sensing that the masked police were on their trail, attempted to escape or slip out of the police's sight, but they were unsuccessful.
According to photojournalist reports, there are suspicions that those detained are linked to shooting incidents that occurred in Vanadzor just two days apart, which resulted in several individuals, including two women, being hospitalized with gunshot wounds at the 'Vanadzor' medical center.
