Three Arrested During Armenia-Croatia Match
During the Armenia-Croatia match at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, a dispute turned into a brawl, resulting in the arrest of three individuals. The Armenian National Police reported that on September 12, at approximately 21:05, the three individuals were brought to the central police station.
“Three individuals were arrested on suspicion of physical assault,” said a police spokesperson. They had engaged in a dispute and struck each other with their hands.
Necessary documents were prepared in the evening, and the case has been handed over to the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
Recall that in the match held in Yerevan on September 11, our team lost to the Croatians with a minimum score of 0:1. As part of the Euro-2024 qualifying group stage, the Armenian national team is set to play its next match on October 12, facing the group’s underdog, Latvia, on their home ground.
