Bus Route 32 Collides with BMW X5, Mercedes, and 2 Ford Transit Vans, Breaking Stop and Multiple Gas Meters

In the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district, at a location popularly known as "14's intersection," a Zhongtong brand bus servicing route 32 spontaneously moved forward, colliding with two Ford Transit vehicles. It then continued its advance, breaking the bus stop designated for public transport and crashing into a BMW X5 and a Mercedes. Additionally, the bus damaged iron railings of a residential building and several gas meters installed on the street for residents, leaving them in disarray. This incident was reported by Shamshyan.com, noting that the accident occurred on September 7 around 21:10.

Fortunately, preliminary reports indicate that there were no injuries from the accident. However, there has been a significant gas leak due to a broken gas pipe.

A photojournalist reported that the driver was not on the bus at the time. According to his colleagues, the driver had stopped the bus to relieve himself, during which the vehicle rolled forward on its own, first hitting a yellow Ford and then a white Ford. Had it not been for the impact with the yellow vehicle, the consequences of the accident could have been much graver.
