Budanov Comments on the Possibility of 'All for All' Prisoner Exchange

Russia is creating certain difficulties for the exchange of prisoners based on the 'all for all' principle. This was stated by Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"The process of exchanging military prisoners is currently ongoing. There are certain, let's say, technical difficulties. I believe that this is due to the not entirely correct position of the Russian Federation, but we will overcome this," Budanov said.

According to him, the Russian side is creating specific obstacles in the exchange process, which they are working to overcome.

Speaking about the possibility of exchanging prisoners according to the 'all for all' algorithm between the two sides, Budanov noted that the situation is "not as complicated as it seems." In his view, there are opportunities for Russia to agree to a meeting regarding the issue of prisoner exchanges under the 'all for all' formula.

"We just need to find the right ways to resolve this issue," emphasized the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
