VIDEO: A Child Poured Water from Above, It's Just a Hoax, Not a Drop of Water on Me – Alen Simonyan

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, participated in the election campaign of the mayoral candidate Tigran Avinyan, stating that he is his friend and colleague. In response to a journalist's question regarding rumors on social media suggesting that Simonyan is harming Avinyan's rating, the official replied, "It’s absurd, how can I lower Avinyan's rating when he is our candidate, or how am I doing this?"

Regarding an incident that occurred during the campaign when a citizen reportedly poured water on him, Simonyan reiterated that no one poured water on him. "A child poured water from above, and it has been blown out of proportion. It is the Azerbaijani media that is reporting based on the claims of Armenian so-called media outlets. Such a thing did not happen; not a drop of water has been on me," Simonyan stated.
