Technical Error That Caused Some Products to Be Sold at Lower Prices in Armenia Fixed by Wildberries

Wildberries has corrected a technical error that resulted in some products listed on the platform being sold at lower prices in Armenia. This announcement comes from Wildberries' press service in response to complaints from Armenian entrepreneurs, who argued that the opportunity for Armenian consumers to purchase cheaper goods from this online platform was negatively impacting local businesses.

"The error has been rectified on the website and in most mobile operating systems. The works will be completed shortly. It is important for us to consider the opinion of local businesses; in our strategy, we always strive to take their views into account and improve our business processes in accordance with their interests," stated Wildberries in their announcement.

It is noteworthy that on September 5, business operators held a protest in front of the government, demanding that the State Revenue Committee prohibit the possibility of ordering products via the Russian version. In response to this protest, the SRC contacted Wildberries to establish controls and block 'indirect' purchases.
