Video: Actor Alexey Panin Faces Possible Extradition from Estonia to Russia; Risks Up to 5 Years in Prison
Actor Alexey Panin may face extradition from Estonia to Russia, where he is at risk of up to five years in prison. This information was reported by the Shot Telegram channel.
The artist was detained in Tallinn while inebriated. He attempted to enter a stranger's home, mistakenly believing it to be his hotel. This incident occurred around 3:00 AM.
During the altercation, Panin also broke some dishes. As a result, he was taken to a police station and subsequently to a detoxification center. On the way, the actor attempted to grab a cigarette from the law enforcement officers.
Currently, Panin faces the threat of extradition to Russia. However, Estonian authorities may intentionally choose not to enforce this decision based on political views.
