Trolleybus on Route 10 Hits Pedestrian
Today, on September 2, an emergency incident took place in Yerevan. At around 16:20, on Komitas Avenue, in front of address 39/6, a 64-year-old driver, Felix M., operating the trolleybus on Route 10, hit a pedestrian, 56-year-old Susanna K., a resident of Yerevan.
According to shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene. With the help of citizens, the injured person received first aid, and subsequently, paramedics who arrived promptly transported her to the hospital.
Staff members from the nearby food establishment “Mister Giros” provided psychological assistance to the driver. Witnesses at the scene told our correspondent that the injured woman had been a passenger on the trolleybus, and after getting off, she was waiting for the driver's instructions when the driver inadvertently struck her.
The driver underwent a sobriety test, which showed that he was sober.
